Day 1: Athens - Colombo Flight to Colombo via connection.
Day 2: Colombo - Sigiriya Arrival early morning in Colombo and departure by bus for the area of ??Sigiriya. The green area that will accommodate us for the next three days hides inside some of the most kalofylagmena secrets of the island.
Day 3: Sigiriya (Anourantapourna - Aoukana - Michintale) Now get ready for a great tour one that will meet from near the archaeological site of Anourantapourna protected by UNESCO. Then you see the tallest Buddha statue in Aoukana and the city of Michintale, where he started Buddhism on the island.
Day 4: Sigiriya (Polonnaruwa - Sigiriya) Second top attraction is the ancient city Polanarouva. This is one of the most important archaeological sites of Sri Lanka. Day 5: Sigiriya - Turn After the tour in Sigiriya and on the way to Kandy, we will visit a spice plantation and a Batik factory. The evening get ready to experience the sacred city of Kandy. Top attraction of our afternoon tour is the Temple of the Sacred Tooth of Buddha. The day will end with a spectacular performance by local dance and fire walking.
Day 6: Candy Today we begin in the region of Pinavala, where the Elephant Orphanage. Elephants of all ages splashing in the water and play with their young. Return to Candy and city tour where we will visit the buildings of the University and the local market. In the afternoon visit the botanical gardens Perantenia hosting a huge variety of rare tropical plants.
Day 7: Kandy - Nuwara Eliya Today we head to the mountainous region of Nuwara Eliya surrounded by tea plantations. We will visit a tea plantation and a tea processing factory. In the afternoon we will dedicate to tour the city and surrounding area.
Day 8: Nuwara Eliya - Colombo Through a magical green route we arrive at the island's capital, Colombo. On our tour we will visit the central area of the city known as the "Fortress" built by the Portuguese in the 16th century. Then we will see the National Museum, City Hall, Independence Square, the site of Sinamon garde and picturesque market of Petah.
Day 9: Colombo - Athens After breakfast participants in 9 day program return via connection to Athens.
